News9

Well, the filming has been done and the story has been aired. My partner and I are very excited about being able to bless the Collins family this Thanksgiving. We did this out of the goodness of our hearts and hope that we can be an example to others in our industry. If you didn’t get to watch the new9 story you can view it here! Millennium Roofing & Construction is going above and beyond to make sure that every customer feels valued and that they are OUR #1 priority. Here is something to consider and that was not mentioned on tv tonight. Millennium is not a perfect company and we make mistakes just like everyone else out there. The difference between us and them is that when our guys make a mistake we fix it or when our salesman make a promise to the homeowner, we make sure the promise is kept.

Kids

We are at Cheddars for lunch today. So far it has been a horriable experience. The tea that I ordered came out as a water downed diet dr. pepper. The salad that Ash and I ordered sucked too. The food just came out. I will tweet the results. I really don’t think our waiter is cut out for this job either.

ALLin…

Let me start by saying, WOW! Journey Church EAST campus is amazing. We were invited to come and listen to Pastor Clark speak. Tonight was a night on vision and dream for the church. The title of this blog is the theme for the next series and years to come. Pastor Clark talked about the vision for the church. This vision started 8 years ago. I used to think that the saying we always say at church was just a saying, BUT it’s not! It is real and GOD is real, “God can do anything you know, far more than you could ever imagine, guess, or request in your wildest dreams, he does it not by pushing us around but by working within us his spirit deeply and gently within us.” After hearing from one of the elders speak tonight, it really made me realize how deep this scripture is. Journey Church started out in a house with a DREAM and core group of people. Now they have two locations and over 5000 people every weekend. This church is the real deal. It’s awesome how GOD really can do anything. I look at my life and just know that if it were not for him then I would be nowhere. I am so excited about how GOD is going to use my family and I to impact this community. The title says it all for us. ALL IN. My wife and I are praying about how GOD can use our time in the church. We have decided to put all our chips in and go ALLin.

Work

I haven’t talked about work in a while. This week I will be working alone. One partner is in Georgia at our second campus. The other one will be headed to Mexico for vacation. It’s a bitter sweet week. We have decided to shut down our location in GA. It’s really hard to run a business 13 hours away, especially when you can’t trust anyone. I’m just glad it’s over. On the other hand, Oklahoma is booming and growing. We have been doing well this year. I thank God and our sales reps all the time. Well, I need to make some calls before it’s to late.

Sunday Morning

I was going to wake up and go hunting this morning. I guess I never heard my alarm or something. Now I’m getting ready for church. Well, I thought I would blog first. I have not blogged in a ling time. It seems easier to just tweet instead. I need to start blogging more.

Days…

It has been a few days since the last time I actually got to sit down and think about writing on my blog. Let’s get you all updated on what’s going on. Business is going great in Norman, OK. One of the last post was about the business that I started.(Millennium Roofing & Construction) Not only have we taking off as a new company in Oklahoma but we have already launched our sister company in Atlanta, GA. This is awesome!!! I am so excited about what GOD has been doing with this company. Not only in this company but in our lives. I once had a prophecy given to me that before I got into the ministry, GOD was going to bless me financially. I think this is it baby! GOD is great. Every time I think GOD is not around I just take a look in my life and see what he has blessed me with. I have not had time to do much of anything lately. Business has me consumed with a jam packed schedule. I am not complaining though. The church that my wife and I attend is Journey Church. If you read my blogs you probably already know that. We have really enjoyed being at this church and look forward to the days ahead. The vision of this church is huge. I pray and hope that we can be a part of it. Sometimes it’s hard to find where you are suppose to join in at the church. If anyone knows how, let me know.

Sledding2

I forgot my video camera so there will not be any videos to watch. We had a blast snow sledding! My leg on the other hand his in severe pain. My partners and I built this ramp in the snow. It was bad to the bone. (literally) Everyone was wanting to go on it. I was the one who went first to test it out. (BTW) I took our wake board and made it snowable. I just made that word up! When I hit the ramp, I flew into the air and landed on the side of the board….OUCH!!! CRACK!!! It felt like I broke my leg, arm, back, and neck. I don’t feel very well now. You can view the pic of my leg here.

Salesmen…

If anybody lives in Oklahoma and does not have a job, let me know. I own and run Millennium Roofing & Construction with two other guys. We are hiring salesman. You can contact me; rayson@millenniumroofs.com. The way the economy is right now makes it tough for people to have jobs or even to keep jobs. Yesterday alone, 70,000 people lost jobs. That’s 70,000 families that are needing help right now. I want to be able to help people if I can and if they are willing.

Sledding!

It is on tomorrow for the white hills in Oklahoma. It’s not to often we get to go sledding around here. When the ground gets covered the people come out of the wood work to have some fun in the snow. I took our wake board apart and put it were we can go snow boarding with it. Hopefully nobody breaks anything. I will be posting a video from our white hill adventure.

Winter

I thought we had got through this winter with out having to deal with all the ice, sleet, rain, and snow. This has been a pretty good year (2008), now we are in 2009 and the cold weather is here. I am sitting in front of the fire place messing around on my computer. I looked outside to see what the gauge is and it said (20 ºF). That is frekin cold. The sleet is coming down pretty good and I need to head into town to get some medicine for my Jaxon bug. Hopefully I make it back to blog some more.
