Nightmare!

Starting out Matt and Carla Harrel spoke very highly of themselves and there company. They built a great looking house for us. The process that it took for us to get our house built was such a headache. Matt would say one thing and Carla would say another. There was a huge communication problem with them. There were a lot of promises made and we had to fight to get them. We were charged for stuff that was suppose to be in the sqft price. Our cabinets have scratches all over them. Our floors look horrible. We thought we were going to be able to have an awesome experience building our DREAM home, but thanks to these guys, we didn’t. I should have done my homework better. No BBB rating and they are all talk. Stay clear of these guys! They still haven’t finished the punch out list I gave them and we have been living here for a month. They showed not an ounce of professionalism from the way they communicate to the way they dress. If you want a good experience, don’t use StoneCreek Homes of Moore, OK.

Weather

Well, hurricane season is definitely here. We were getting ready to pack up and head to New York to work Earl. My business partner actually got called out by pilot cat. That is the name of the company we use to work for when we were adjusters. Hope everyone stays safe this season of storms. I’m ready for something big to hit so we can chase this storm.

Why does it always feel like there is never enough time in the day to get things done? We have been swamped at Millennium Roofing! Thank God we have a group of people that bust there butts and go above and beyond for this company. I’m grateful to have this team! Thanks everyone. We need more daylight!

It’s been a while. I’ve been extremly busy these last few months. I hate not being able to really sit down and take the time to right on my blog! Thank God for the iPhone app. If I would ever use it. Millennium is growing and we are expanding. I can’t go into detail just yet, but God is an awesome God and he always provides for us. If you need a job or just wanna make some extra money for the summer, call us! We do just about anything and eveything there is to do in the Roofing and Construction industry. My wife and I are sitting inside Warren Theatre waiting for the movie to start. We have a wide range of people around us at the moment. Weird, funny, happy, sad/pissed looking, and gangsterish like. The movie hasn’t started yet and we are just laughing and watching people. This is great!

Bedtime

Here I am once again laying in my bed forcing my eyes shut thinking it will help me go to sleep. Bedtime! I think not!!! I think bedtime is when I fall asleep. When my eyes are open it seems that I never stop thinking. I hate it! I never remember falling asleep either. I think I will rant for a while. Ok, done ranting.

Thoughts- Church was really good this past Sunday. Today was a busy day. I feel like I got nothing accomplished. I went to lunch with a guy from our church(#JC) last week…oopps! That’s the Twitter coming out. Anyway, he gave me a book titled “20 things I need to tell my son”. In my case it’s sons! The first chapter talks about how God has a plan for my life and for my childrens life. At the end of each chapter it ask that you write down three things that your son needs to hear from you.
1. Always put God first in everything that you do
2. Learn how to pray to God by themselves
3. Take responsibility for your own actions.

The boys and I had a really good conversation about these three things. I love being able to teach my kids about God and the plans that he has for there lives. Last and final thing before I go….teach your child the right way, or someone else will teach him the wrong way.

I’m laying in bed while my wife is snoring…and I have just downloaded the wordpress app. Love it! This is totally wicked man. I can now blog from my phone without me going through Safari. I always had trouble doing that for some reason. I’m so stoked about this. Anyways, I should probably get to bed now. See ya!

Trying something different…

Back to the tweet that I did earlier this morning. I’m trying something different this year with resolutions. Instead of having multiple resolutions for the beginning of the year, I’m going to have one for each month. At the beginning of each month we as a family are going to sit down and talk about things we need to do different. Now don’t get me wrong. I have already got several new year resolutions in mind. The only difference is, we are going to accomplish these by the end of each month. 2010 is very exciting! I believe it is going to be a year of increase in realtionships,(not only with family and friends but with GOD too!) finanaces, business ideas, and health. More coming soon!
